Phlair was founded in 2022 with a mission to develop a cost-effective and scalable electrochemical Direct Air Capture (DAC) technology. Using electricity, water, and salt, they capture CO₂ from ambient air to produce a highly pure CO₂ gas. The captured CO₂ can then be used for permanent storage or as a building block for carbon-negative chemicals.
In 2024, both Phlair’s strategy and visual identity were updated, including a name change from Carbon Atlantis to Phlair. As part of the rebranding, their website was redesigned, a project I contributed to during my internship at Domino Studio in the spring of 2024.

Following the launch, user feedback was collected and revealed a need to update parts of the website’s copy, which in turn required design changes. When I returned for a second internship in the spring of 2025, my task was to restructure and further develop the website to present the information in a clearer and more user-friendly way.

This is a project I worked on during both of my internships at Domino Studio. The strategy and visual identity were developed by Domino’s branding team, while my main responsibility was the website design and navigation update.

For that reason, I’m only showcasing this part of the project in my portfolio.
As part of these updates, we also identified a need to improve the site’s navigation. I revised Phlair’s menu structure and implemented support for submenus, making it easier to organize and access content.
